Tusheti tour 3 Days

Tusheti is the most beautiful national park of Georgia, and we give you an opportunity to discover Tusheti with its beautiful nature, medieval defense towers and dwellings,  ancient culture and hospitable people.

Duration:  3 days

Best season:  June to October

Interests:  Nature, hiking, horse riding, medieval architecture, wine and food.

Day 1.  Tbilisi - Abano Pass - Omalo

Tbilisi's drive to Tusheti national park via Gombori and Abano Passes - photo stops and lunch picnic on the way - Omalo - Kesselo fortified complex. Overnight in Omalo (LD)

Day 2. Omalo - Shenako - Diklo - Dartlo - Omalo

Omalo - drive to Shenako and Diklo - drive to Dartlo - lunch at a local café (optional cooking class) hike 8 km or optional horse riding to Parsma - drive back to Omalo. Overnight in Omalo (BLD)

Day 3. Omalo - Alaverdi cathedral - Natural Winery in Alvani - Tbilisi

Leave Omalo in the morning and drive back to Kakheti region-Visit Alaverdi cathedral from the 11th century - drive to Zemo Alvani village and visit a local natural winery - enjoy lunch and wine tasting. Leave for Tbilisi via Gombori Pass - Overnight in Tbilisi (BLW).
