Tour itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival in Tbilisi
Welcome to Georgia! Explore the historic Old Town of Tbilisi, known for its charming cobblestone streets, sulfur baths, and vibrant atmosphere. Overnight at a 3-star hotel. (B)
Day 2 – Journey to Omalo via the Dramatic Abano Pass
Embark on a breathtaking drive through the highest drivable mountain pass in Georgia (2,950m). Enjoy stunning panoramic views as we ascend into the heart of Tusheti. Overnight at a local guesthouse. (BLD)
Day 3 – Discover Ancient Villages & Towering Fortresses (35 km)
Begin your equestrian adventure! Ride to the most picturesque villages of Dartlo and Parsma home to medieval watchtowers and rich Tushetian heritage. Experience the untouched beauty of the region. Overnight at a local guesthouse. (BLD)
Day 4 – Into the Wild: Dartlo to Jvarboseli via Nakaito (30km)
Traverse rugged landscapes and remote villages, passing through the stunning Nakaito Plateau with breathtaking vistas of the Caucasus Mountains. Overnight at a local guesthouse. (BLD)
Day 5 – Riding through the beautiful Gometsari gorge: Jvarboseli to Omalo via Dochu and Bochorna (26km)
Ride in beautiful Gometsari gorge passing through the villages of Dochu and Bochorna the highest inhabited village in Georgia perched dramatically on a mountainside, before returning to Omalo. Overnight at a local guesthouse. (BLD)
Day 6 – Ride to the Stunning Oreti Lake (26 km)
Ride through lush alpine meadows and forests, reaching the serene Oreti Lake, offering spectacular views over Tusheti. Overnight at a local guesthouse. (BLD)
Day 7 – Scenic Return to Tbilisi
Bid farewell to Tusheti and enjoy a final drive through the mountains, taking in the last glimpses of this untouched paradise. Overnight at a 3-star hotel. (BL)
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your journey home, taking with your unforgettable memories of your Tusheti horseback adventure. (B)

Tourists will ride horses of local breed that are well adapted to local conditions and riding in the mountains, on the ascents and descents. The horses are equipped with Georgian saddles and bridles. We provide riding helmets.
